News for hero fans: Director Kevin Smith has thrown together all the stars for the Netflix series Masters Of The Universe Revelation. One of them is the American actor Mark Hamill aka Luke Skywalker and soon also known as Skelektor. You can find out who else is here.
In 1983 the original series was first shown on television as He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe. Around thirty years later, the streaming portal wants to bring the life of the series back to the present day. At that time a cult of children's series and trash, the remake will take a few traits from the original and it should also be a continuation of the comic book heroes. So Smith announced: "We are going to show an epic story, perhaps a possible last fight you always wanted to see as a kid, between He-Man and Skeletor."
The voice of the skeleton former of Alan Oppenheimer will take over Star Wars legend Mark Hamill and Chris Wood speaks for He-Man. Nevertheless, Alan Oppenheimer will represent the voice of the character Moss Man in the remake. Buffy star Sarah Michelle Gellar, Game Of Thrones actress Lena Headey and singer Henry Rollins, who is known in the punk scene, will also have a say.
In addition to the new animated series Masters Of The Universe Revelation, another animated film He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe is produced. However, it is not yet known when the new round of Masters of The Universe will be online on Netflix. Rumor has it that it may be released later this year.
