Daniel Craig's bet on $ 3.1 billion has been recorded as 007 so far – Skyfall and Specter were even the highest-grossing films in the entire series. In NO TIME TO DIE, the smart Englishman finally returns under the expert guidance of Cary Fukunaga (Beasts of No Nation, True Detective) as Ian Fleming's elegant superspy. With the 25th mission, the longest-lived cinema franchise of all time continues the storyline with Craig's multi-layered interpretation of the iconic figure and confronts 007 with its biggest ever challenge.
James Bond (Daniel Craig) has given up his license to kill on behalf of the British Secret Service and is retiring in Jamaica. The peaceful time comes to an unexpected end when his old CIA colleague Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) shows up and asks him for help. An important scientist has been kidnapped and must be found as soon as possible. What starts out as a simple rescue mission soon reaches a menacing turning point as Bond tracks down a mysterious adversary in possession of a flammable new technology.
On Craig's side, once again a British ensemble par excellence gathers: Oscar® winner Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody), Oscar® nominees Ralph Fiennes (The English Patient) and Naomie Harris (Moonlight), Golden Globe winner Ben Whishaw and Jeffrey Wright and Léa Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Ana de Armas and Rory Kinnear.
The script was written by 007 veterans Neal Purvis & Robert Wade and Cary Fukunaga, Scott Z. Burns (The Bourne Ultimatum) and – at the personal request of Daniel Craig – multiple Emmy®-winning author Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Killing Eve, Fleabag ). NO TIME TO DIE is again produced by Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson in collaboration with Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios (MGM) and Universal Pictures International.
